What are your hours?
We’re open Tuesday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We're closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Summer hours (Memorial - Labor Day): Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Do you take walk-ins?
***SUBJECT TO $25 WALK IN FEE FOR TRY ONS WILL BE PUT TOWARDS DRESS PURCHASE THAT DAY****
Yes, we do offer walk-ins on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, but openings for try on are contingent on availability .If your wedding is within 6-9 months, we recommend scheduling an appointment to select your made-to-order gown. We also carry some in-store stock for immediate purchases if your wedding is sooner.
Do you offer installments?
Yes! We require a 65% down payment at the time of purchase. Then,15% will be automatically charged to your credit card 30 days after, and the final balance will be charged 60 days after the down payment. There is a 3% fee for installments.
How long does it take to receive my gown?
Depending on the season, it typically takes 12 to 26 weeks. Please note that factories often close during the New Year, so there may be delays in January and February. Make sure to factor in an additional month for alterations!
Do you offer alterations?
While we don’t offer in-house alterations, we have a list of trusted local seamstresses. Once your final payment is made, we provide their contact information. Keep in mind that these seamstresses are independent contractors, Augusta Bridal is not liable/responsible for their work.
What sizes are available for trying on?
We carry sample gowns ranging from sizes 4 to 30, so you’ll have plenty of options to try on.
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
For your first appointment, there’s nothing specific you need to bring. If you'd like, you can bring any undergarments or shapewear you’re considering for your big day, but it’s not required.
For alterations appointments, it’s helpful to bring the shoes you plan to wear or similar-height heels for accurate hemming.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' WRITTEN notice via email if you need to cancel your appointment. A $50 fee will be charged for no-show appointments or cancellations with less than 48 hours' WRITTEN notice.
Do you carry veils and accessories?
Yes, we do! We offer a range of handmade veils from Vermont, as well as a variety of bridal accessories.
Do you offer custom-made gowns?
All of our gowns are made to order. Customization options depend on the designer, gown and style.
I’m looking for a hoco/prom dress. Do I still need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary for homecoming or prom shopping—feel free to drop by during our regular hours!
